Hybrid Entertainment in conjunction with Wolmer Bush Lounge, are hosting a Toy / Children’s charity drive Festival on Saturday 4th October 2014, starting at 1pm in the afternoon and concluding at 11:30pm. The event is called Plushy Fest.
The event hosts 13 artists/bands during that time, with a charity drive to collect as many plush toys, blankets, food items, clothing and school stationary items as possible at the door for discounted entry. The entry fee, discounted by the toy collection, will be split between the participating bands as a thank-you for their participation.
The collected items are to be distributed to Johannesburg Children’s Home, and Jakaranda Children’s Home as confirmed charity partners, with the bulk of the toys being offered to children’s wards at The Chris Hani Baragwanath Hospital.
