Milo Young Stars Football Club started in June 2005 with the aim to identify and develop potential sports skills and talents among the youths of our community. The Club was registered in 2009 as a NPO with the Department of Social Development.

Its objectives are to promote arts, sports and culture while minimizing alcohol and drug abuse among the youths and adults alike, to facilitate skills and talent development through sports and games, to ensure youth involvement and keep young people off the streets, to educate youth in our community ensuring a decrease of domestic abuse and violence against all vulnerable groups.

The VanZylsrus Milo Young Stars Project is working towards skills development in the Van Zylsrus area and the surrounding farms, thereby making a positive influence among the young people. Having no recreation facilities in our community, Milo project provides the much needed physical fitness opportunity for the people of our community.
