Past:
Pastor Yvonne Anker is the founder of BOTH the known Hosanna Ministries as well as Women in Action or ‘Vroue in Aksie’. These organizations did humanitarian projects, through the whole of Africa, and South Africa, in co-operation with leaders of United Nations, ILO and SA Government.
From 2012 The Yvonne Anker Foundation will operate as Yvonne Anker Ministries and Women in Action will be our core department.
Present:
The Yvonne Anker Foundation was established as a private non-profit organization by Pastor Yvonne Anker and family members, in 2005. The YAF is known for joint ventures with Heads of Government Departments, Corporate Companies, and other non profit organizations.
Overview:
We are a Christian Welfare and Humanitarian Organization, registered with the Social Development Department as well as the SARS. We are also registered with section 18a benefits which give tax deductible benefits to donors.
Awards and Acknowledgements:
2010: Recognition by the Deputy Minister – Department of Economic Development with the Kitchen Cruise.
2008: An acknowledgement Award from the South Africa Police Services, for the upgrading op the CPU (Child Protection Unit) in Atteridgeville Pretoria. Certificate of acknowledgement from the Rotary Club, for humanitarian projects.
2007: International editorial acknowledgement by the senior world chronicles program for our outreach projects to senior citizens.
