The Acacia Tree Nursery School is a new Waldorf nursery school initiative that hopes to provide the opportunity for children in Chintsa to recieve a holistic, rich and comprehensive pre-school education.

To help achieve access for all a bursary fund and sponsorship program has been created to provide financial assistance to children who are unable to afford the full fees. We have 22 children enrolled for 2011 of which 15 will be requiring partial or full assistance this year.

The School has been started by Tom and Madeleine Muller in 2009 after they returned from the UK. Tom is a Waldorf teacher and Madeleine a doctor who worked in the UK as school doctor. They are passionate about health and education and its implications in the development of the child.
