Stepping Up is a non governmental organisation founded by a group of peace officers and volunteers, in the Gauteng Region, who have experienced the pitfalls and inadequacies of the system intended to protect victims of domestic abuse. We aim to assist victims of domestic abuse, where the law enforcement and court system may fail them, by means of education, support and practical guidance, ensuring that the laws in place are used effectively to help victims overcome their circumstances.
