Standerton Victim Empowerment Centre was established in 2009. The community found the organisation and they are currently involved in daily operation of the organisation. The managing director qualified as a victim support worker and has experienced in this field. The organisation is offering day and night support to the victims of all ages; services include debriefing, domestic violence, abandoned children, orphaned children, gender violence, sexual abuse, and human trafficking and Xenophobic attacks.
