St Luke’s Hospice

St Luke’s has been caring for people with an incurable illness for the past 30 years. On any given day we care for 760 patients in the greater Cape Town area.

The aim of St Luke’s Hospice is to enable our patients to live until their very last moment, as pain free as possible, and then to die in dignity.

No one is refused the service of St Luke’s Hospice because they cannot afford to pay for their care. Therefore, we rely on the generosity of our donors, the skill of our fundraisers, and the loyalty of our volunteers to continue to care for the community of Cape Town.

We provide nursing, social and spiritual support to patients and their families, and have various community day-care centres around Cape Town.
