South Africa’s First Conference on Male Sexual Victimisation

SAMSOSA will be hosting South Africa’s 1st Conference on Male Sexual Victimisation. It will include speakers from around the world and local specialists in the field. The conference will benefit anyone working with male survivors whether in a professional or voluntary capacity. It will also be beneficial to survivors themselves.

Cost: R795 including refreshments, lunch and speakers notes.

Topics to be covered include:
- Personal narratives of males who have been sexually abused and raped.
- What is being done around the world by NGOs and governments?
- International trends in male victimisation and therapy.
- Sexual violence in Prisons.
- Grooming and career offenders: An Experience of the church.
