Sibambene Youth Centre

SYC is aiming at developing various rural communities through its programs for promoting positive lifestyle not only in young people but the community as a whole. It comprises of a dedicated group of young people from different communities who are eager and passionate to change rural communities for the better.

Vision: Sibambene Youth Centre endeavours to see South Africa living and leading a healthy and productive life while keeping the spirit of Ubuntu (humanity) alive as we all unite for a better tomorrow.

Mission:
- We are crossing the bridge between the rural and urban areas of South Africa by breaking cultural barriers which are hindering people from realizing their dreams.
- We intend to improve our disadvantaged communities by implanting communication and leadership skills in community members.
- We are committed to bring equality of opportunities to all members of the society irrespective of race, gender, physical or mental disability.

Objectives:
- Implant a positive behaviour change trough peer education.
- Reduce the alarming rate of teenage pregnancy.
- Provide professional counselling and career guidance services.
- Develop young people in the field of acting, poetry, music dancing and sport.
- Render community and economic development in the organization.
- Offer prevention and disease management programs.
- Assist the vulnerable groups in communities.
