Ras Unity is a new Non Profit Organization based in Kagiso II, formed by the community on the basis of joining hands with the community at large to address the social injustices within our society whether it is poverty, HIV and AIDS and other related sicknesses, skills shortage, crimes and drugs.

‘Let the hungry be fed,naked given clothes,sick naurished,aged be protected and infants cared for.’ If Jahova is on our side who can be against us, Jahova is our shephard we shall not want.

During the 2009 winter season we managed to serve soup to more than 160 school children in Geba and Randfontein road in Kagiso and in October 2009 we cleaned 3 houses for pensioners in Swanneville Section, Kagiso.

2010 March and April we hosted Unleavened Bread Festival for the Rastafarians of Gauteng in Kagiso (Swanneville) and in October issued work wear (dust coats, overhalls, 2 piece suits to the community of Kagiso 1 and Kagiso 2.

2011 March and April we again hosted Unleavened Bread Festival for the Rastafarians of Gauteng in Kagiso (Swanneville) and in September hosted a workshop about drugs. The theme was Drugs Killing our Nation, mainly based to the Rastafarians and Street kids. In November we handed food parcels to 43 disadvantaged residents of Kagiso ,Mayibuye and Swanneville and in December hosted a Christmas Party, giving away toys and party packs to 96 desperate children in Kagiso Community Hall with the help of SOPHLA Group and Mr T Khuzwayo (a ward Councillor).
