 | FOCUS AREA:
The Association's mission, which determines that QASA is a co-ordinating, policy-making, governing and supporting organisation.
The Association strives to prevent quadriplegia, as well as protect and promote quadriplegics' interests by formulating a National policy and strategy, to develop and ensure the full potential and quality of their lives.
The Quadriplegic Association of South Africa (QASA) is an Association made up of membership of the regional associations being:
Gauteng South, Gauteng North, KwaZulu Natal, Eastern Cape, Northern Cape, Western Cape, Free State & North West.
Each region is affiliated to QASA and operates autonomously but under the guidelines of the QASA constitution. It is the intention of QASA to establish regional associations in provinces not represented so far.
The Association serves the needs of all quadriplegics who are members of their regions and strives to provide a better lifestyle and affordable independent living through its projects and policy.
WE NEED:
Money for running costs, development capital to build self help centres for quadriplegics and paraplegics.
