Project Manager and Trainer

The Anna Foundation works on farms in the Boland offering our ‘3 Rs Programme: Reading, Running and Righting’. Children attending our after school projects are assisted with homework, educational support, reading materials, sports lessons and life skills. Women from the local community are trained to manage the projects on a daily basis. The Anna Foundation is looking to expand our services to farms in Robertson, Ashton, Barrydale and other farms in the Karoo. A project manager and trainer is sought to manager this expansion and train women in the programme. The employment opportunity requires the candidate to work in our head office in the Boland (Stellenbosch) for a trial period before starting set up and training for the new projects. The position requires that the person must be able to travel long distances and spend approximately 1 – 2 weeks per month sleeping in Robertson / Barrydale (or similar area). Travel allowance and accommodation will be part of the remuneration package. The successful candidate must have a teaching or social development qualification. This position requires experience in training of adults and working with children. The candidate must be able to work in a team as well as independently and show maturity and dedication to the job. Must speak both English and Afrikaans and have own vehicle.
