Mhinga OVC is a drop-in centre where orphans and vulnerable children, elderly and the youth are looked after, supported and fed. We have around a 160 children and serve daily meals and offer after school support for the children. Life skills are taught and mentorship programmes are on offer to the kids. Two Day Care Centres have also been established to care for the little ones.

The Centre is in a rural village of Mhinga in the Malamulele area in Limpopo. High levels of unemployment and therefore more poverty in the area. The Centre serves as a beacon of light to the people of Mhinga Village. The village has 11 areas under Chief Mhinga of the Vanwanati Clan. The project receives support from the Traditional Council but no financial support.

Just acquired a site to build own centre but lack funding for the building and we are looking for assistance in this regard.
