Khwaja Ameenudeen Foundation of South Africa

The Khwaja Ameenudeen Foundation of South Africa was founded and established by Hajee Mahomed Essack Essop Noordeen (President and Ameer) and his youngest son Fakeer Abdur-Rahman Noordeen (Deputy President and Deputy Ameer) and the executive board of members of KAFSA in year 2008.

The foundation is officially registered as a Non-Profit Organisation with the Department of Social Development of South Africa and is striving to towards becoming Public Benefit Organisation in the near future.

We believe that the basic needs and rights of all citizens of a democratic country should never at anytime be compromised and should be enjoyed by all citizens regardless of the creed, religion or financial status of an individual of that matter, such as:
- Equality, dignity and fair treatment for all.
- Having the access to hygienically safe and clean drinking water for all.
- Free education for all.
- Free medical access for all.
- Freedom of speech, religion, and expression for all.

Our goals and objectives:

- To promote the good teachings of a saint of god known as Hazrath Khwaja Ameenudeen Ali Allha Shere Khuda Chisti Qadri Bandanawaaz (Rehmatullah-Alahi) of Bijapur Shareef, South of India.

- To alleviate the roots of poverty in society and help individuals physically, spiritually by assisting them to get back on to the road to lead a normal healthy lifestyle.

- To provide free spiritual guidance to mankind.

- To provide free welfare and Counselling to the distressed and needy.

- To offer workshops and campaigns to bring awareness by usage of professionals in the following areas:
HIV and AIDS awareness
CANSA awareness
Drug and Alcohol Addiction awareness
Crime and Safety awareness
Rape and Teenage Pregnancy awareness

- To provide free literature and training to the public in the following areas:
Religion and culture pamphlets / magazines and brochures
Free basic computer training
Free sewing, baking, cooking classes

- To observe all Religious and Cultural events in accordance to the Sunni Islamic Order.

- To promote weekly spiritual workshops, welcoming one and one all to attend.

- To promote public benefit projects like the following:
Feeding Scheme: Feeding to the poor and needy and open public.
Providing disadvantaged learners at school with a healthy lunch on a daily basis.

- Distribution of Health / Food Hampers to the poor and needy in the society.

- To assist the society in leading a balanced and healthy life style by introducing fun walks, competitions, blood donation, etc.

- To help promote a healthy family orientated ethos inclusive of free counselling to society.
