Hunger No More was founded in September 2010 by Thandi Ngcingane-Sambit. It is a poverty alleviation programme looking at reaching all the 9 provinces in South Africa. Food is a basic need: Our mission is to design a hunger free South African society and permanently reduce food expenditure costs in households, targeting the poor and the low income earners who can’t afford a descent meal. The aim is to enable households not to spend more of their little or no income on food only, they should also be able to cater for or afford other human needs.
