We are focusing on orphans and vulnerable children in our local village – there are 23 in total. The program was planned after we discovered that there was a need for feeding programs, because many kids were attending our church where there was a monthly feeding scheme. We knew some of these children were without parents.

We started to look for ways in which we could extend this kind of serving to reach out for the kids that are without parents and vulnerable so that we can see ways to assist and serve them better. This led us to look for assistance from a local social worker and a need was identified. At the end of 2006.we started a project called Tusanang Horizon which is already got some donors who came to our rescue by sending us food parcels for some of our kids and through them we were also assisted to register our organization as NPO.

We are still receiving food parcels from these donors. Unfortunately only 9 of the 23 children are receiving support because they were specifically selected by some people and they volunteered to support these children. Currently we are just looking for ways to find donors.

We are looking forward to 2011 and do our best to perform well compared to 2010.
