Hospice Tzaneen renders palliative care to people with a life threatening disease. The care renders is from diagnosis to death and bereavement of the family. Palliative care enhances the quality of life of the patient. Whether it is by pain and symptom control or a last visit to a place of the patient’s choice. This care is rendered at the patient’s home or in the Hospice In-Patient Unit.

Our vision is to touch all peole in the Letsitele, Tzaneen, Modjodjiskloof and Haenertsburg areas with palliative care, where needed, to enhance the quality of life and assure dignity in the last phase of life.

Hospice In-Patient Unit cares for patients with uncontrolled pain, for respite or in the last phase of life. Professional Nurses render palliative care at the patient’s home. The psychosocial support group render palliative care and natural treatment to minor complaint to farm workers working in our operational area.
