The organization started to operate in the year 2000 and duly registered with the Department of Social Development as an NPO, and has since reached youth, adults, CBOs, NPOs and individual community members. The organization is registered as a Public Benefit Organization (PBO) with SARS and also accredited with the Health & Welfare SETA as an education and training provider.

The organization has in the ten years of its existence managed to play a vital role in the development and caring of the community through its programmes and activities that provide home care, support, counselling, awareness and education, and skills base of CBOs, NPOs and individuals.

The organisation facilitates the following programmes: home based care, treatment supervision, crime prevention, vegetable gardening, peer education (life skills) and OVC care and support.
