Franco stands for ‘Franschhoek Resource and Network Coordinating Organization’. We have a database of all the active and dormant groups in the area and we allocate funds by referring to this database to see who needs help the most. We actually work with about 25 to 30 different groups, not just one. We have 10 volunteers and one part-time secretary, who is paid. No one else receives any pay, other than reimbursement for running expenses.
