The Foundation for Children with a Hearing Loss in Southern Africa established the Eduplex Pre- and Primary School in 2002 in Pretoria, South Africa. The mission of the Foundation is to act as a change agent in the education of deaf children internationally. For this reason the Foundation established the Eduplex mainstream school, following an inclusion model specifically for the deaf, as well as a Training Centre. The Foundation also assists parents in raising funds for their children for cochlear implants.
