Epilepsy South Africa takes pride in only implementing projects that are properly planned, of an extended term in nature, sustainable and specific goal orientated.
Our projects with direct impact on our target community, which are people with epilepsy and other disabilities, consist of a combination of our service areas, namely:
- Advocacy and human rights
- Economic empowerment
- Social development services
- Residential care
- Research
- Risk identification and management
- Monitoring and evaluation
With these service areas we aim to create opportunities for people with epilepsy and other disabilities which will enable them to function optimally, achieve their fullest potential and to, where possible, provide equitable and accessible services to ensure integration into society where they can enjoy equal opportunities and receive the necessary support and care.
