FOCUS AREA:
Early Childhood Development (ECD)
The Early Learning Resource Unit (ELRU) provides a range of ECD training programmes, to teachers, trainers and community development workers. We publish resource materials for ECD practitioners and an assortment of children’s readers. Our research has attracted international attention and forms the basis for the advocacy role we have come to play over the years.

To date ELRU has trained more than 60 000 ECD teachers, trainers and community workers with an outreach to children exceeding 5 million.

WE NEED:
Funding for our operational costs that support our training and community development programmes. We urgently need new computers and vehicles.
