People with Disabilities can lead great lives and this year's Disability 2007 (Nedbank Disability SA Expo 2007 and the ACSA Disability Conference) is the only event in the country where people with disabilities, their family members, their caregivers and service providers can go to access information on what resources are available for people with disabilities (PWDs). Now in its third year, the event will take place from the 1st to the 3rd of November at Gallagher Estate in Midrand.

This year's event includes an exciting array of activities, including:
- Wheelchair basketball demonstrations
- Wheelchair tennis
- Wheelchair dancing
- Demonstrations by the SA Gymnastics Disability Programme
- Golf competitions, demonstrations and clinics organised by the SA Disabled Golf Association
- Motivational talks by Oscar Pistorius, our double amputee athlete who won two Paralympic medals in Athens
- Dieter Marzinger, a quadriplegic who has developed an extraordinary ability to paint with his mouth. His paintings have been accepted by the well-known Foot & Mouth Painting Association which is based in Switzerland.

This year's exhibition will include over 100 displays including entertainment and lifestyle choices: adapted vehicles; ADLS (assisted daily living equipment and service); communication aids; computers; easy reaches; emergency medical supplies; hand cycles; hearing aids; hospital furniture; mobility aids; occupational products; patient handling devices; physio equipment; products and aids for the deaf and blind; prosthetic artificial limbs; showering devices / building products; sports equipment; training institutions; walking sticks; wheelchairs; wheelchair clothing and, much more!
