The Adoption Society was started more than 50 years ago by the Catholic Women’s League of the Diocese of Johannesburg but has grown and changed over the years to meet the needs of all racial, cultural and religious groups. We are now able to provide a full range of very affordable support and services to both adoptive families and birth parents and pregnant and birth mothers to be.
The Adoption Society provides a warm and friendly home – a place where quality counsellors and trained volunteers are down to earth people with years of experience, who are always available to take your call, with advice or help, immediately on hand.
Our social workers are professional and have a high degree of ethics. Their experience and insight covers all aspects of adoption, including decisional counselling, to pregnant women, birthmothers, international adoptions, adopters and adoptees.
The interests of the children are always of paramount importance throughout the adoption process. A history of very providing for loving and happy family’s and mothers, bears testimony to a real desire in building long standing relationships with solid and happy families.
