CWAF works for all children and women, specifically refugee children and women, orphans and widows. Our research shows that more refugee children are unable to attend formal school because of the condition of their families and they are often abandoned. Refugee women often have to enter the world of prostitution in order to survive, which increases the risk of HIV infection. CWAF focuses on refugee women and children by fighting to reduce the level of HIV, for their education, counselling, assistance, food, clothes, blanket and others items are distributed to those in need. Due to financial constraints we had to close our office in Johannesburg and we are now working from much smaller premises. We would like to restart our activities as soon as possible and would appreciate any assistance.
