Princess Christian Home (PCH) is having a tea in celebration of Spring and students of the internationally recognised artist, Andre Naude, will be exhibiting their paintings, while two tenors, Dubtique, will be performing as guest artists.

 | DSSD aims to hand out 320 wheel chairs in September which is Disability Month. So far DSSD has received 133 wheel chairs towards this event through Buy a Chair & Show u Care. DSSD has a waiting list consisting of 320 people in need of wheel chairs. We hope to assist all persons on the waiting list.

This site uses Thumbshots previews | On 10 October 2010 the THINK BIKE campaign of the Western Cape and its associated members and supporters will once again be heading out to DIE HERBERG children’s home in Robertson to show support for the children at the home. Any person who feels they can make a difference, no matter how small, is invited to participate. All you need to do is come along and bring some toiletries for a child.

This site uses Thumbshots previews | The ESKOM MITCHELLS PLAIN WHEELCHAIR RACE, will be the second event of this nature to be held on site at the Western Cape Rehabilitation Centre. The event is hosted by the Facility Board of the WCRC and the QuadPara Association of the Western Cape. We encourage wheelchair users and wheelchair athletes of all ages and disabilities to join us for this fun day of activities and awareness of people with disabilities and the services and facilities available at the Western Cape Rehabilitation Centre. There are many categories to select from, catering for children, paraplegics, quadriplegics, amputees, fun walk with crutches and a corporate team race for some fun! Please come and join us!
