FOCUS AREA:
BESG exists to support the poor and vulnerable to access resources and increasingly gain control over their lives and destinies, through the promotion of sustainable livelihoods and habitable environments, achieving basic socio-economic rights, and capacitating local government, with emphasis on small rural towns.

WE NEED:
Companies willing to sponsor:
- A housing consumer rights and education handbook for low income communities.
- Food gardens and block making facilities.
- Building projects - crèches, community halls.
- Community leadership training programmes.
- Environmental conservation and recycling projects.
- Donate a second hand vehicle to help "mobile-ise" our work in outlying areas.

Rolling roadshow on wills for low income households - runs from 27th September to 3rd November 2007.
Workshop on the right to free basic services for indigent families - provisionally 4th October 2007.
