We have a full time social worker that is tasked with welfare and social related issues as well as general community upliftment and development. Supported by trained volunteers, they go into the community to build relationships, uplift and change people’s lives forever. We aim at sustainable change with permanent solutions.

The team deal with issues such as assisting with grants, ID’s, HIV and other illnesses, child / elderly abuse or neglect, drug abuse, prostitution, child labour, making vegetable gardens and even house repairs for disabled people. The social worker also sees to the needs and statuary work of the children placed into our place of safety and assists with the placement of older children or adults into a suitable place of safety / shelters if needed. We are open 24/7 ready to assist.

PregnancyAssist:

Our goal is to educate the community, young and old, about the dangers of unprotected sex; such as sexual transmitted disease, HIV / AIDS as well as unplanned pregnancy. We offer free and confidential counselling to sexually active couples / individuals as well as community programs – prevention and abstinence is best.

We offer assistance and counselling to couples and teenagers who are faced with an unplanned and unwanted pregnancy. We provide them with baby clothing, nappies, etc as some moms in poor areas do not even have clothing or blankets to take their baby home in.

We also assist the mom with adoption should she choose to give up her baby after the pregnancy, our place of safety will then care for the baby during the mandatory 60 day cool off period and whilst the baby awaits adoption. Some moms require short and long term care for their baby after birth for reasons such as while they finish school.

AdoptionAssist:

We have created a platform to discuss and find solutions to the issues one faces with adoption. There are so many orphaned and abandoned children in South Africa that need love and a home, if only we as a country would be more open to adoption. We hope that in the future through outreach, we can change the mind-set of our country and open the door to give those a family who don’t have one.

True Life Success:

In the short time we have been facilitating adoption, we have given 3 babies a home. We are also assisting a couple in the USA with an adoption in their own country as well as encouraging many people throughout the world to open their heart and homes and to adopt a child.
