 | Mission, aims and goals:
Moonbears of SA aims to heighten awareness concerning the cruel plight of 10,000 moonbears in captivity in China and 4000 in Vietnam for their bile, which is drained on farms in a painful and barbaric way. They are kept for 20 years and more in tiny cages in which they cannot move in order to drain the bile. We are campaigning to the Chinese Embassy in Pretoria concerning the issues and have both on-line and manual petitions to gather signatures for presentation at the Embassy.
