We are proud to introduce to you Angels Without Wings, a Non- Profit Organisation (NPO 084/749) whose aim generally is to assist children with terminal illnesses such as leukaemia and lymphoma. We also support children with severe disabilities.

Angels without Wings was founded in August 2010, after we came in contact with the family of baby Renee Maree who was five months old, and had been diagnosed with Leukemia on 10 May 2010. Her family lives in Namibia and she was the youngest of six children. We never met Renee or her family but we communicated with them via Facebook, sms and phone calls. Renee’s mom stayed with her in the hospital which was quite far from home and her dad stayed at home looking after the other children. On 28 June 2010 little Renee passed away, this was on her six month birthday. We realised then that there was a need for support for families with children that have terminal illnesses or severe disabilities.

One of our bigger main aims which we are building towards is to set up a Therapy Vacation Farm. At the farm we plan to offer play therapy to children with animals, and to encourage and support families by giving them a place to relax but also to develop and work with the children. At this farm we will have various animals that the children can play with and feed.
