African Angels is an established and committed non profit organization successfully running an educational sponsorship programme in the East Coast Resorts area, benefitting 28 orphaned and vulnerable children living in the area.
It is time to take the next step in our programme, partnering with parents and carers to deliver a high quality education to children who could not otherwise afford it. And so in 2012 we will be starting the African Angels Independent School at the premises previously occupied by Byletts High School in Chintsa East.
The African Angels Independent School will have a maximum of 16 children in each newly painted and fitted classroom. In 2012 we will start with Grade RR, Grade R and Grades 1 & 2 combined. The language of instruction in the classroom will be English. We will be supported by organizations such as the East London Tina Cowley Reading Centre who will give our Angels individual reading assistance from the outset of the school. To create a centre of learning excellence and contribute to nation building in the East Coast Resorts Area we are seeking your support in kind and cash.
