Africa Food for Thought

Africa Food for Thought is a non-profit organisation that equips and supplies school and pre-school feeding projects in order to improve nutrition. This increases school attendance, improves the physical condition of children and enhances learning and concentration amongst children attending those schools and pre-schools identified as the most disadvantaged. Currently we have eleven school and eleven pre-school projects feeding about 11 000 children. We also provide nutritional, emotional and spiritual support to over 60 orphaned and / or vulnerable children. Through Youth Crime Fighters we also support young children in our area with sport, chess, homework and maths classes, as well as a Sunday School.
