In our society, women of all ages, cultures, occupations, races, status are abandoned, abused and/or battered. Our mission is to help all women affected by domestic violence who seek our sanctuary by providing a caring, clean, decent and safe environment - providing shelter from 24-hours to 6 months.
IRFSA allows these women time and space to plan their lives forward through services geared towards improved self-respect, independence and recovery.
WE NEED:
Second hand clothing and shoes (women, men, children & baby)
Vegetarian tinned foods
Kitchen bric 'n brac (crockery, cutlery, pots, pans, etc)
Personal sanitary items (deodorants, soaps, sanitary towels, shampoo, etc)
Kitchen appliances (new or used - kettles, irons, mixers, microwaves, stoves, etc)
Plants and / or seeds (flower or vegetable)
Perimeter fencing to secure the shelter
Office stationery
Financial donations most welcome
