FOCUS AREA:
We preach the gospel of Jesus Christ to the people in our communities. The crime rate in the Retreat, Steenberg, Lavender Hill, Vygie Kraal, Lakeview, Monteque village just to mention a few is so high. The unemployment rate in this community is also high. We counsel and minister to people who have been abused, we offer marriage counselling, etc. Our members have meetings in the homes of the communities called homecells where our goal is to enrich the lives of people by teaching them the word of God. We have a feeding scheme that feeds one hundred children in the Vygie Kraal community.

WE NEED:
At the moment we are renting a building that costs us R40,000 per month to rent. Our greatest desire is to own our own building as well as transport. We believe that we will be more effective in serving the community if we do not have to pay this much rent per month. We would like to serve the community more by establishing an empowerment centre where we can teach the community life skills which will enable them to get better job opportunities. To feed more people in other areas regardless of race or religion.

UPCOMING EVENTS:
We are currently organizing a fundraiser to be held on 13 December 2008 in aid of sending our worship team to the USA to minister in song at the Christian Family Church Jupiter, Florida, in January 2009.
